PEARLAND — The Dawson Lady Eagles won the Angleton Invitational track meet scoring 180 points to finish ahead of Brazoswood, Texas City, Angleton, Manvel, Bay City, Fort Bend Travis, and Fort Bend Clements.
The Lady Eagles won five events and had strong support showing in multiple events.
Dawson won the 400-relay as Theresa Davis, Cydney Boudreaux, Paige Kimble, and Erica Davis ran 47.98.
Miranda Thornhill won the 800-meters in 2:25 while Bethany Taylor placed third in 2:30.
The foursome of Theresa Davis, Boudreaux, Anteria Richardson, and Erica Davis won the 800-meter relay in 1:43.9.
Kimble won the 400-metes (59.47) with teammate Briana Alba placing second in 62.14.
Abbie Harrelson won the 1600-meters in 5:22 while teammate Bethany Taylor placed third (5:51).
Jemira Thomlinson won the discus with a throw of 119'10" while Tara Sonson was second (111'2").
Sonson also placed second in the shot put (34'5.5") with Jacole Collins placing sixth (30'5").
Jonesey Chauvot placed second in the pole vault (7'0").
Mackenzie Bush placed secong in the triple jump (32'5.5").
Harrelson placed third in the 3200 meters (12:17).
Nia Smith placed third in the 100 high hurdles (16.97) while Mackenzie Bush was sixth (18.23).
Smith also placed third in the 300 intermediate hurdles (50.29).
The 1600-meter relay quartet of Erica Davis, Theresa Davis, Alba, and Kimble placed second (4:01).
Boudreaux placed fifth in the 100-metes (13.03).
Gia Petties placed sixth in the high jump (4'8").
Taylar Prier placed third in the long jump (17'5.5") while Elizabeth Mitchell was fourth (16'1").
