Dawson's Etienne, Ford, Lovett named to All-Greater Houston teams

Like last season, the Lady Eagles faced the Summer Creek Lady Bulldogs. For the second straight year, Dawson came up short of the 6A state basketball tournament as Summer Creek survived the late rally by the Lady Eagles 45-40.
Summer Creek advanced to the state semifinals for the fourth time in the last five years.
Three of Dawson's key players this season were named to the Chronicle's All-Greater Houston teams.
Junior guard Faith Etienne was named to the All-Greater Houston first-team as she averaged 17.5 points per game as Dawson's leading scorer. She averaged 7.3 rebounds per game, 2.8 steals, and 2.4 assists. Etienne was selected as the District 22-6A MVP.
Senior guard Kendall Ford was named to the All-Greater Houston second-team as she averaged 14.5 ppg, 7.3 rebounds pg, 3.0 assists, and 2.8 steals. Ford was selected as the District 22-6A Defensive MVP and is a Tarleton State commit.
Senior guard Journey Lovett was named to the All-Greater Houston second-team as she averaged 14.9 ppg, 4.1 rebounds pg, 2.6 steals, and 2.2 assists. Lovett was selected as the District 22-6A Offensive MVP and is a Bradley University commit.
