STATE BOUND - Dawson senior Noah Haileab won the gold medal at the Class 6A Region III track meet with a personal best 9:08.05 which was 14 seconds better than his previous personal record in the 3200 meters.

Haileab will compete at the 6A state track meet in Austin at Michael A. Myers Stadium on May 12-14.
