The Eagles received the second half kickoff and it took only three plays for them to regain the lead as Jaiden Treadaway broke free on a 53-yard scoring jaunt. The PAT was good for a 34-31 advantage.

Once again, Dawson struck quickly as Jerimiah Treadaway broke for another long distance score, this time covering 67-yards with 6:00 left in the third period for a 41-38 lead.
After holding Memorial on a fourth-and-three at the Dawson 37, the Eagles began another drive but that came to a halt thanks to a Memorial interception.
However, Dawson quickly got the ball back thanks to an interception by Cornell Wesley at the Dawson 32.
The Eagles went on a 7-play, 68-yard scoring drive resulting in a 21-yard scoring pass from QB Max Zavala to Josiah McFarland with 6:39 left in the final period to bump the score to 48-38.
