PEARLAND DAWSON — Noah Haileab of Dawson posted a time of 15:32.19 to finish sixth in the boys’ Class 6A division of the University Interscholastic League state cross country meet at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock back in November.

Haileab, a junior, finished just 6.5 seconds out of third place behind another junior in the state. The runners who finished first and second in the state were seniors.
