Lady Oilers spank Alief Taylor 15-0


PEARLAND — The game lasted only three innings as Pearland scored 15 runs in the first and second frames against the Alief Taylor Lady Lions.

Pearland opened the first inning with nine runs and finished it off with six runs in the second for the lopsided district win.

Alayna Calvillo led the offensive attack going 3-for-3 with three runs scored and a pair of RBIs while Kristyn Whitlock was 2-for-2 with 2 runs and 2 RBIs.

Kennedy Drafton and Raenna Liscano both had doubles while Darian DeLeon and Whitlock banged out triples.

The Lady Oilers used 10 hits to score 15 runs.

Mackenzie Vittitow pitched pitched two innings to get the win and Alissa McClellen closed out the third frame.
