Dawson 3 - George Ranch 0

Dawson stretched its current win streak to 13 games and 19 out of the last 20 with a 25-19, 25-22, 25-18 win over George Ranch in a District 23-6A volleyball match.

The victory improved the Lady Eagles to 22-3 overall and 7-0 in district, keeping the Lady Eagles one-half game ahead of Pearland in the league title race.


Dawson 3 - Manvel 0

Dawson defeated unbeaten District 23-5A leader Manvel in a non-district matchup, 25-20, 25-20, 25-16 as Kynnedi Johnson had 16 kills, Jordyn Sinnette added nine and Katelynn Tripp finished with eight. Marisabel Torres led the Lady Eagles with 20 digs and Sarah Kirk contributed 24 assists.


Pearland 3 - Alief Taylor 0

The Lady Oilers defeated Alief Taylor, 25-16, 25-7, 25-11.

Sam Demmon and Bailey Graves each had eight kills, Sarah Wright had seven and April Conant finished with five. Katie Whitehead and Abi Watts had 19 and 16 assists, respectively, while Corine Stephens added seven digs.


Pearland 3 - Alief Elsik 0

Pearland defeated Alief Elsik, 25-10, 25-9, 25-13. Demmon led the way with 11 kills and two blocks, Victoria Kenney had eight kills and Graves had seven kills and three blocks.

Wright finished with five kills and six digs while Kaylie Kovach had five kills. Whitehead led the team with 25 assists, Watts contributed 17 more assists and Megan Keasler had 14 digs.


Friendswood 3 - Clear Falls 1

The Friendswood Lady Mustangs cleared a major hurdle in the district title race with their second win over the Clear Falls Knights (25-23, 22-25, 25-23, 26-24).

McKenna Fridye had a huge effort for Friendswood with 13 kills and seven blocks, and right behind her in the Lady Mustangs' attack was Faith Marabella with 12 kills. Kylie Lockhart led the defense with 20 digs, while Zeyanna Dhalla (28 assists) and Bri McGown (26 assists) shared passing duties. McGown also had 13 digs.
