Oiler junior striker John Baker scores a goal on Saturday during the championship game vs Pasadena at the conclusion of the Pearland/Pasadena Invitational Tournament.

The Oilers would get the win 4-1 over Pasadena and take home the first-place trophy from a field of 24 total teams. It's the first time Pearland has won the tournament since 2011.

PEARLAND BOYS — Oiler junior striker John Baker scores a goal on Saturday during the championship game vs Pasadena at the conclusion of the Pearland/Pasadena Invitational Tournament.

The Oilers would get the win 4-1 over Pasadena and take home the first-place trophy from a field of 24 total teams.

It's the first time Pearland has won the tournament since 2011.

The Oilers will be back at home to face Clear Lake on Tuesday, January 17 at The Rig.
