Butler, Sharks honored by Texas Sports Writers

PEARLAND SHADOW CREEK — Shadow Creek head coach Brad Butler was selected as the Class 5A "Coach of the Year" by the Texas Sports Writers Association.

The TSWA is considered as the official All-State teams of Texas as their selections are the featured teams that are in the Dave Campbell Texas Football Magazine which is considered the bible for Texas football.

Butler has a sparkling 31-1 record with the Sharks while winning the 2019 5A Div. I state championship. The only loss Butler has suffered was in the 2018 state title game against three-time state champion Highland Park.
