Alford, Bryant honored by TD Club of Houston

SHADOW CREEK — Each year, the Touchdown Club of Houston selects their annual UIL High School Preseason Team that recognizes some of the top football talent in the Houston area.

This year, Shadow Creek High School had two players on their list, both defensive standouts that were responsible in helping the Sharks advance to the Class 5A Div. I state title contest last year.

Defensive back Xavion Alford and defensive Alec Bryant were both named to the elite defensive squad.

The pair will be team leaders this season with hopes to help the Sharks repeat as District 10-5A Div. I and 5A Div. I Region III champions.
