FRIENDSWOOD — Friendswood High School Mustangs Varsity Tennis team competed at the regional tennis meet on April 13-14 at the Blythe Calfee Tennis Center in Willis, Texas.

There were 14 varsity players who competed in the tournament for Friendswood. The tournament was highly competitive with teams from as far away as Austin and College Station.

While no players were able to advance to the state tournament, Friendswood gave their best effort.

FIRST ROUND

All players made it past the first round which is notable as they either played other district champions or runner ups.

QUARTERFINALS

Many of the players in this round played top seeds at region, their efforts were commendable.

Girls Doubles (GD): 4th place Elodie Ridout and Nandini Bhojani

Mixed Doubles (MX): 4th place Enrique Castillo and Elle Moss
