LANEIGH CLARK HONORED
Pearland Mayor Kevin Cole presented a Proclamation to Pearland head softball coach Laneigh Clark to celebrate her 25 years at the helm of the Lady Oilers softball team.
Clark is the winningest Class 6A coach in Texas softball history and she led her squad to the 2023 Class 6A state championship this year. She has 794 career wins and 688 wins at PHS.
Clark announced her retirement after Pearland was crown 2023 6A State Champions. Clark was inducted in the Texas Girls Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2021.
