FIRST SPRING GAME
New Friendswood head football coach Jordan Johnson got his first look at his Mustangs after the spring game at Henry Winston Stadium.
Friendswood is in one of the toughest 5A districts in the state but Johnson, who came from state-power Denton Guyer, is accustomed to playing tough teams.
Johnson is a graduate of Friendswood HS and has said, "My time spent throughout Friendswood ISD, and just the way my teachers and coaches poured everything into my life makes this special," Johnson said.
"That experience really changed my life at a pivotal moment, and it means the world to come back and have the opportunity to do that same thing for athletes at Friendswood High School."
