Friendswood's Gabe Cuadra

FRIENDSWOOD — Former Friendswood track standout Gabe Cuadra [219] was selected to the C-USA All-Academic Team for both cross country and track and field this season marking his fourth straight year on the cross country All-Academic squad, and third straight year for track and field.

During the cross country season, he earned All-Region and Second Team All-C-USA Honors, and was the Owls' fastest runner at the conference and regional meets. He followed up those performances with a fifth place finish at the C-USA Championship in the 10,000 meter race, and an appearance at the NCAA Championships in the same event.
