Friendswood swimmers finish third overall at Hornet TISCA meet


FRIENDSWOOD — The Friendswood swimmers competed at the Hornet Texas Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (TISCA) Meet at the Flour Bluff High School Natatorium in Corpus Christi just before Thanksgiving.

Jordan High School won the event for the girls with 513.5 points while the Friendswood HS girls finished second with 320 points followed by Memorial HS (305), Flour Bluff HS (260), and Katy HS (179).

Memorial HS won the boys side with 454.5 points followed by Jordan HS (243.5), Houston Lamar HS (228.5), Austin HS (212), and Friendswood HS (148).

Memorial won the overall swim meet with a combined score of 759.5 followed by Jordan HS (757), Friendswood HS (468), Houston Lamar HS (390), and Flour Bluff HS (338).
