FHS girls win District 24-4A title

Friendswood girls "A" golf team.

FRIENDSWOOD — The Friendswood girls varsity golf team won the District 24-4A championship and will advance to the 4A Region III golf tournament. Paige Lemon won a sudden death playoff for third place individual medalist and Kolby Duke placed fifth overall.

The "A" team players include: Paige Lemon, Kolby Duke, Lauren Hendershot, Taylor Kaufman, and Amy Beckman.

The FHS "B" team also competed and did very well. They include: Miranda Mejstedt, Stephanie Bossert, Victoria Fagnana, and Jordan Salley.
